STREET WATCH is a residential network linking Neighbourhood Support Members to a central point, usually their street coordinator. This could be via a phone tree or by email contact. Information on unusual or suspicious activity in their neighbourhood could then be emailed through to the Porirua Police Intel Section at - intel.kapiti.mana@police.govt.nz
Information provided will be investigated and outcomes reported back to the group coordinator. Neighbourhood Support is one of the strongest organizations in the advocacy of community support in crime prevention, being actively involved is one way of being informed and aware of situation around you and your family.
BUSINESS WATCH - is the commercial e-mail network linking companies with information regarding security and crime matters that could affect their business. The flow of information is critical in the attempt to reduce crime and its effects on the Porirua area.

RURAL WATCH involves farms and people living in rural areas. These areas are often the last to be informed of activities and trends in their locations due to the nature of their work and isolated postions.
Neighbourhood Support tries to get the information out to them at the earliest opportunity and to date we have had a large amount of information being shared within that community.
